Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have been taken by Department of throughout a search of a home in Glengormley.
A male was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and consequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offenses.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was carried out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: "It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be hazardous.
"These kinds of products being sold, generally online, have actually gone through no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their security.
"You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More significantly, you do not know the impact drugs like this may have on your health."
